The Triangle Nonprofit & Volunteer Leadership Center's GREAT HUMAN RACE is a a certified 5K Run and Community walk that supports 100+ area nonprofits.
In its 23rd year, the Great Human Race will be staged at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The race is a certified and timed 5K competitive run and walk. Starting at the Ballpark, the race will wind through the scenic gently rolling hills of the Forest Hills neighborhood with the last leg on the American Tobacco Trail and finishing back to the Bulls Stadium.
The Great Human Race has raised over $3 million since its inception in 1996. There are plenty of ways to get involved...run, walk, volunteer, donate or raise money for your favorite nonprofit. For additional information can be found on our website at www.thevolunteercenter.org.
Race Day Schedule
Registration: 8:00 am – 9:00 am
Run starts: 9:30 am
Agency/Community Walk begins immediately following runners.
Runner Registration:
Adult: Early-Bird $30 | $35 after March 1 | $40 Day of Race
Youth (18 and Under) Early Bird $20 | $25 after March 1

Prize categories: top 1st place male & female and age groups: 11 and under, 12-16 , 17-24 , 25-34 , 35-44 , 45-54, 55-64, 65 – 74, 75+
